Libraries
The library, the reading rooms and all the library facilities are reserved to lecturers and students of the University of Bologna, including senior students and PhD students.
The library’s bibliographic collection consist of 15,000 volumes and 1,166 scientific journals, 160 of which the library is subscribed to.
The library's main building, located in Via Selmi, has a computer hall with 24 computers available to students registered at the University of Bologna. It is also equipped with a reading room with 50 seats. The collections of scientific (Miscellanea) articles belonging to Carlo Emery, Alessandro Ghigi and Ercole Giacomini are preserved here.
The secondary library location, found in Via Irnerio, preserves the Bertoloni collections, thousands of ancient and rare botanical volumes.
