The museum was founded in 1814. It exibits the evolution of some apparatuses
of Vertebrates.
The specimens, skeletons and systematic collections holded delineate an
ideal trend along time which led to the development and definition of
the vertebrate shape existing today.
In a particular section of the museum it is possible to “touch”
some specimens explained with Braille types for blind visitors.
